Dr. Charles Doherty, a holder of dual doctorate degrees, and he is an accomplished scholar-practitioner. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organization & Management with a concentration in Information Technology Management and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a specialty in Accounting and Finance. He is also a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he obtained a post-MBA degree in Accounting and Auditing.

Furthermore, Dr. Doherty is an Accounting and Financial Management Executive with more than 20 years of professional experience and skills in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business Management, and Educational Technology. He possesses more than 15 years teaching and training experience gained in various academic environments in Europe and United States.

He is currently a Visiting Professor of Accounting and Financial Management with Southern New Hampshire University and DeVry University. Dr. Doherty has worked in both private corporations and public organizations. He is an expert in auditing and investigation techniques, forensic accounting methods, statistical analysis, data management and interpersonal skills. He is proficient and certified in Oracle, Lawson, SAP, Great Plains, and PeopleSoft Financial Reporting Systems. Dr. Doherty is a member of International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP), Inc., USA.
